Our Story
Hi, we’re Tony & Nadine — the faces and
hands behind Pan de Villa!
We grew up on iconic East Coast Italian deli sandwiches — always on the freshest bread. Now living in the beautiful Sonoran desert, we found ourselves longing for that quintessential semolina style of bread. That longing inspired us to open Pan de Villa — meaning “village bread” — a little bridge between our roots and the vibrant, local flavors of Tucson.

At Pan de Villa we believe that food has the power to connect people, evoke memories, and create new traditions. We specialize in artisanal sourdough breads that pay homage to both the classic Italian flavors of our youth, and the unique, newfound tastes of our Tucson community.

Unlike commercial yeast bread, our sourdough takes its time — slow-fermented for better flavor, easier digestion, and a naturally longer shelf life.

Try our line of sourdough offerings made from local organic whole grains from BKW farms in Marana — from rustic country loaves, baguettes, and ciabatta made with local durum wheat to our crowd-favorite focaccia with an ever-changing rotation of flavors. Our semolina bread is golden and slightly nutty, with a tender crumb and sturdy crust that makes it perfect for those deli-style sandwiches we grew up on. Bringing East Coast deli dreams to the desert - you wont be disappointed!
